"Music for the Eyes" offers a wide variety of cushions, changing when we find something new in the countries we visit. Our most popular are our needlepoint cushions from Hunza, in the mountains in the north of Pakistan. The Agha Khan started a development project there, teaching the local women to use vegetable dyes on wool, and helping them to make products for export. We are proud to support our friends in Hunza.
In addition, we find beautiful pieces made of wool kilim in Turkey and Afghanistan. Our Bakuba cushions are woven from reeds on a loom and result in sophisticated modern patterns in neutral colors. Finally, we have just found a source of new Uzbek ikat silk cushions in beautiful bright designs.
