Our store is our passion and hobby. Selling carpets makes it possible for us to go shopping once again. We invite you you to come and enjoy our rugs, and to share your stories of travels and discoveries with us!
Our comments on rugs and countries in this section are not meant to be conclusive (or even 100 percent accurate!). They are just our personal reflections gained in our journeys from a moment in time. They are included here to share the beauty and maybe to encourage your thoughts and conversations.

…because it is high quality (indicated by a high sales price) with tiny knots
…because you are advised to do so by a designer

…because it is your favorite color
…because you like being with it, sitting on it and gazing at it while you watch tv
WHAT ABOUT SHOPPING AT MUSIC FOR THE EYES?
We have a different approach to shopping for carpets at our store.
… We’re not going to follow you around and try to convince you of anything.
…We won’t offer extra discounts because you are a decorator, or for any other reason.
(We are a fixed price store.)
…We don’t serve you tea
What we will do is:
…assist you going through our rug piles
…tell you where any carpet came from, what its quality is, who made it, and what any symbols on the rug might mean
…let you take one, or a few rugs home to try out in the lighting of your home. It is good to see how the rug looks in a new environment, and see if you still love it there.
…give you a fair price, be honest with you, and make you a happy customer.
…give you a handout we have created about how to care for and wash a handmade rug.
